The Short Names

Reports indicate that the Blackberry Bold (Blackberry 9000) will be available on Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) during the second week of July, and will have a hefty price tag of 450€ - 500€.
A little peculiar point is that it might be rebranded as the Blackberry Goldfinger, which might come as a surprise to some.

Though its been a long wait for the official HTC TnTN II Windows Mobile 6.1 update, but hopefully the wait will be over soon. Saw this in today’s The Inquirer (no, that not that one). Seems Negroponte, the visionary behind the One Laptop Per Child project is going Windows on the OLPC.

I think it’s really happening now.
Can anyone imagine a western power, in this case France, trying to ‘limit the damage’ and reacting to China’s pressure 20 years ago? 10 Years ago?
What’s happening here is a test run on China’s part to see how much influence and pressure it can exert to get it’s way.
