Blackberry Bold To Be Available On TIM As The Goldfinger?

Reports indicate that the Blackberry Bold (Blackberry 9000) will be available on Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) during the second week of July, and will have a hefty price tag of 450€ - 500€.
A little peculiar point is that it might be rebranded as the Blackberry Goldfinger, which might come as a surprise to some.

Can anyone imagine a western power, in this case France, trying to ‘limit the damage’ and reacting to China’s pressure 20 years ago? 10 Years ago?
